Q: How do you get so many stars/views/fans/etc.?

A: I've been on Hatena since the beginning of 2010, so I've had time to sharpen my art and writing skills. Also, my "fame" has a lot to do with you, since it's the people who decide what they do and don't want to watch. I wish I could give out a rock-solid popularity formula, but there really isn't one. Just work hard and cross your fingers.

Q: Did you expect to become this popular?

A: Uh, no. Have you seen my old stuff?

Q: How long have you been drawing?

A: Since I was three, I believe. My dad still has one of my scribbles saved for eternity on a Magna-Doodle. I discovered anime and manga when I was ten.

Q: Where do you get your inspiration?

A: I am influenced by so many things. The idea for Crystal Hearts came from a game my friends and I used to play in the backyard when I was younger. We would jump on the trampoline and pretend we had superpowers that came from heart-shaped crystal necklaces that changed color. (IRL Delaney pretty much invented it.) I am also inspired by a wide variety of movies, shows, books, Creators and YouTubers. (That does NOT mean I stole from them, mind you.) In addition, my dreams often take place in elaborate fantasy/dystopian worlds, so I like to draw from those.

Q: What was the first anime you ever watched?

A: Mew Mew Power. The 4Kids English-dubbed version. I am so ashamed. *headdesk*

Q: What's your favorite anime?

A: THERE ARE SO MANY, but if I had to narrow it down to a short list, I would say: Angel Beats, Code Geass, Death Note, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Shakugan no Shana, and Vampire Knight. My favorite anime movies are Ponyo, My Neighbor Totoro, and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Q. What are your favorite Hatena series?

A: Gravity (by Vicki), Sheath (Brandy), and H2O (Mitsuki).

Q: Why won't you reply to my comments?

A: I can't reply to everyone; it's exhausting. I do my best to respond to direct questions, though, as long as they haven't already been asked a million times. I try to communicate with my readers as much as possible.

Q: When is the next CH coming out?

A: I don't have a schedule. I just work on it whenever I can.

Q: Are you quitting?

A: No.

A: This isn't technically a question, but I can still respond with a resounding NO! I don't "steal" from any one. Yes, I am inspired by a multitude of things, but so is everyone else on Earth. No one can possibly be 100% original! I've addressed this issue before in my "My Thoughts" Flipnote.
