I should move on.

I do come on this site once every couple years and I don't know why anymore. Flipnote Hatena is gone and has been for almost a fucking decade now. It's fucked up, because it was a huge part of my childhood. I met my first online friend, who was also my first s.o, and still to this day (as of 7/22/2020) is my best friend ever. We're ride or die tbh. But I digress. Flipnote Hatena was fucking important to me and it still fucking stings to know that it's gone. Yeah, Sudomemo exists, but it's not HATENA, and it's also run by a freak lmao.

I wasn't on Flipnote for a long time, maybe little over a year before it shut down, but it still fucking changed me considerably and it kick-started my love of animation and drawing. And by god, have I improved since. And I have this dinky little app on a dinky little gaming system to thank for that.

I've met a lotta good people through this app, all except one I've since lost contact with, and while a handful of them weren't good people in the end, I'm still thankful I met and befriended them.

I recall I kinda moved onto Colorslive/Colors!3D for the 3DS around the time Flipnote was shutting down. Colors!3D is getting a new app on the Switch! And I'm fucking excited for it!

Maybe one day Flipnote Hatena will return, in a form that isn't Flipnote 3D and Sudomemo. Maybe. Doubtful, but hopefully. Who knows, though.

I'm gonna regret writing this shit when I come back in 2022, huh?
