水資源（特に地下水）の専門家（コンサルタント）として40年以上に渡り、アジア、アフリカ、中南米の水資源に困窮する、あるいは問題を抱える国々の多くの水資源プロジェクトに従事してきた。若い頃は、本来の芸術的な指向性に自ら蓋をして、この理工系の仕事を続けることに対して大いに迷った。しかし、仕事を続けるうちに、僕は自分が従事したプロジェクトの一つ一つが自分の作品なんだと思えるようになった。

その後僕は迷うこと無く作品（プロジェクト）を一つ一つ完成させ、やがて子供達も独立した。今、子供達こそ僕が創造した最も素晴らしい作品であることに気づいた。その子供達から、今までの作品をブログで書くことを勧められた。40年間プロジェクトでとり続けた写真を振り返りつつ、こつこつと書いていきたい。

As a water resource (especially groundwater) expert (consultant) for over 40 years, I have been involved in many water resource projects in water-stressed or water-problematic countries in Asia, Africa, and Central and South America. When I was young, I was very hesitant about continuing this science and engineering work by putting a lid on my original artistic orientation. However, as I continued to work, I came to see each and every project I worked on as my artistic work.

Children have already been independent. My children are my greatest artistic work I have ever created. The children encouraged me to start a blog, and I would like to look back on the photos I have taken for the project for 40 years and write them down.
