My name is Jared. I am 11 and live in Kansas. I ask if ur reading this, plz dont be all like "We arent in Kansas anymore". When you think of Kansas, you probably think of Hillbillys and stuff from The Suite Life on Deck----thats all a sterio type and I very much wish that people wouldnt do that. One other thing you would think about Kansas would be Tornados. Since I said that, ur probably like "Have you ever been in a tornado?" The answer is Sort of.

I live in the south part of my town and In 2004, a big tornado damaged the North Side. In 2008, an EF3 twister anialated just 2 miles north of town----the damage was amazing, like nothing I had ever seen before. Also in 2008, an EF3 twister was headed Dead straight towards us but right before coming into My town, it turned north, hitting the small town of Jewell Kansas. 2009 was pretty calm, but things stirred this summer. We were out eating on a stormy night and the clouds got darker and started twisting----a funnel cloud. Within the next few minutes, a tornado formed across the Hiway and somebody yelled tornado and we were lucky enough that it went north only destroying a couple farms. Thats just the twisters around my area but throughout the years, Kansas has seen many devasting tornadoes. Sorry thats so long--but i could of listed more.

Anyway, more about me. I am planning to attend Fort Hays State and prusuing a career of business and politics. Some of my hobbies are art, reading, and writing books.
