A favorite attraction amongst Belgium travelers is the National Garden. The Garden was designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It's located in Brussels, among the most affluent cities of Belgium and is considered among the most gorgeous gardens in the world. There are many different attractions that may be researched by day-tripping via Belgium. Some of these include the famous Bruges Castle, which have been utilized by Catherine the Great as her royal fortress in the Middle Ages; the Schaerbeek Palace, a restored palace that provides a glimpse into the history of Belgian politics and the influence of the Hapsburg Dynasty onto it; and the Van Gogh Museum, which houses one of the most impressive collections of contemporary art in the world.
