A Schengen visa is obligatory for those who are qualified for the global travel license. You'll have to see an EU state and then return to Slovenia. However, you won't be permitted to stay in the country for a long time period without a Schengen visa. A Slovenia visa along with also the Schengen visa are not required for people travelling between eligible countries for a limited period of time only like two weeks or a maximum of 3 months.
