Indonesia has introduced a new health card, which has drawn much criticism. The new health alert card is known as the International Health Card. In keeping with World Health Day the design of the card is a blue health ring with the text"illi Indonesian". The blue color of this ring is a representation of the seas of Java and Borneo in Indonesia.
Despite the introduction of these special cards a few are critical of the plan. They believe that the font ought to be bolder and darker to better represent the island of Indonesia. On the other hand some are unhappy with the color combination of these cards. Some people today believe that the health card creates too much confusion among people.
Indonesia has had a health care system in place for several decades. Lately there have been a lot of problems with the delivery of health services. It is well known that Indonesia has the highest rate of infant mortality compared to any other country in Asia. Bearing this in mind the health alert card has been introduced to try to improve the health of the Indonesian men and women.
But some are concerned that with the different colours on the health alert card it causes confusion. There's also the concern about the different font sizes on the card. These problems are being deliberated upon by the government. They are taking a look at ways to present a uniform credit card to combat this confusion. There is also a concern that the colour blue may cause confusion with the Indonesian national colors of green and gold.
Currently the cards are still being designed. The font will most likely stay the same as it's been for the past couple of years. Other colours such as black and white are being considered but nothing is final as far since this is concerned. It's anticipated that in the long run each the Indonesian cards will probably be blue.
The health alert card is essentially a public service card that carries your healthcare information such as allergies, vitamins, medications, diabetic direction etc.. If you have ever gotten a health alert card previously, you will observe that they include your name, phone number, address and title of your doctor. This usually means that this card can help save lives if a health crisis were to happen. With the current advancements in technology the Indonesian government hopes to produce the health conscious card more user friendly in the long term.
