The Slovakia Public Health Locator is a free service provided by the Ministry of Health and Social Development. In the country, a family may become ill and instead of seeking proper medical assistance they fall back on the care of the family member who is the nearest to them. There are many health care facilities available in Slovakia. Each facility has its own characteristics. Sometimes a patient needs urgent surgery. If financial difficulties prevent the operation from being performed, the family member closest to the patient will take over the care of the patient.
