Last week when Tony and I met Mari at the park, she brought along Si(las), so we could meet him. Our first program goal is to meet the needs and assets of our community as defined by our community. No joke, people. I got out of the car to meet them at the airport pickup and there he was, the crazy-haired blond angel baby, absolutely beaming love-rays at me. I didnt know what to do-so I got out my sewing machine, and made myself a new shirt. I was just trying to shake it up, you know. Im scared to hit publish on this post, but I know its the right thing to do. A thing of beauty is always worth sharing, right? I have been admiring this series of of Buki animal cutouts she colored, so I thought Id share. The animal cutouts above are from a Buki activity book we picked up at the curriculum fair here (I had to smile when I saw the name of their website -- Poof-slinky?). You also need a website. These will become the ring around your napkins, so its a good idea to make a test strip on some paper first to check the rings are the correct size for your napkins - remember that you need to include enough overlap for your double sided sticky tape.
