Dr. Nicholas Kyriacopoulos is presently working as a senior scientist with the University of Birmingham, UK and visiting Scientist at the University of Cambridge, UK where he is leading a team involved in "data driven" knowledge discovery.

He is also a visiting faculty with School of Management Studies (SOMS), NIT Calicut, India. Prior to joining the University of Cambridge, he was working as a Scientist in BASF, Belgium and Statistician in Synergie Lyon Cancer Centre, France. He did his B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) in Electrical Engineering. After finishing his post graduate in Bioinformatics from IBAB, Bangalore, India he was working with BrainWave Biosolutions Pvt Ltd as Computational Scientist and developed many data oriented solutions in the healthcare domain. He did his PhD from Wageningen University, The Netherlands on applied machine learning and data analysis. He has been granted several International fellowships during his career progression such as the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB), British Council, Newton-Katip Çelebi Fund, Dutch Government. Further, he is an editor with the prestigious journal PLoS ONE and reviewer with multiple international journals such as Bioinformatics, BMC Bioinformatics, British Journal of Applied Science & Technology, International Journal of Agricultural Policy and Research. He published many articles in leading journals and presented his work more than 15 countries, including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA; Judge Business School, Cambridge, UK.
