You may want to consider joining a support group if you suffer from Tinnitus. Many people do not know that these groups exist, but they do, and they are there to help you. You will chat with other Tinnitus patients, and you can all share tips and ideas with each other.

Only give yourself 15 minutes to get to sleep. If this amount of time is up and you are not asleep, then get out of bed and leave your room. Make sure not to do any activities that are mentally taxing, or that require you to use a lot of energy. Rather, try to do a soothing, relaxing activity. By making your bed a "sleep zone only", you will avoid an unwanted ritual of tossing and turning, instead of sleeping.
